RSI Compensation Claims

Repetitive strain injury, commonly referred to as RSI, is an injury that affects the muscles, tendons and nerves. It usually affects the hands, wrists, arms, shoulders and neck. If you have suffered from an RSI injury at work, you may be entitled to make an rsi personal injury claim.

RSI is most commonly linked jobs which involve a lot of repeated rapid movements, often but not necessarily for long periods of time. This can range from people who work on a factory production line to people who work for long hours typing on a computer.

As well as repetitive movements, symptoms of repetitive strain injury can also occur as a result of continuous muscle contraction caused by being in a fixed position for too long, where the limbs are unsupported or supported in an inaccurate manner.

In order to make a no win no fee rsi claim it is important to inform your employer about the situation as soon as the problem starts to arise so that they have an opportunity to try to resolve the problem. If your employer does not do anything to help your situation, such as carry out a risk assessment of your work station or provide regular breaks, you may be entitled to make a claim for rsi and be awarded compensation for rsi.
